A pioneer in the field of experiential marketing, Joonpyo Hong encourages businesses and brands to look beyond traditional communication to prompt customers to interact with and live through their brands. He currently serves as CEO of Dill Inc., a marketing service agency specialized in experiential marketing that helps brands, businesses, destinations, and organizations more creatively promote themselves. He also serves as a representative of GMR Marketing, one of the largest global experiential marketing companies.

He worked as managing director for the global marketing department of Yonhanaro Communications, the first and leading experiential marketing agency in Korea. He supervised teams , provided creative consulting services, and managed more than a thousand marketing and PR related events.

He also worked for Hancomm, an advertising agency in Korea, as deputy director for global promotions. Before embarking on an agency career, he managed overseas advertising, international mega events, and overseas marketing at the Korea National Tourism Organization. Work experiences in various fields—from government to private sectors, and in marketing, PR, advertising, entertainment, sports marketing, and promotion—enable him to find feasible integrated marketing communication solutions and implement the most promising marketing and consulting projects, regardless of their marketing objective.

Some of the works spanning his twenty-two years of experience include the World EXPO bidding promotion, Samsung Anycall Olympic promotion, Intel Extreme Masters Korea, Manchester United invitational Match, Incheon City EXPO, APEC meetings, Seoul Open Night Cultural Festival, Seoul International Fireworks Festival, Seoul International Food Festival, Seoul International Kite Festival, Korea Tourism Development Forum, Mandate for the leadership Seminar with the Heritage foundation, Annual Marketing Campaign for the Grand Korea Leisure Casino, and Beijing Olympic Touch Relay in Seoul.
